Photographs from your family portrait sessions will be treasured for many years to come. They are an investment that will last a lifetime. For many though, the thought of getting your photos taken is a little daunting: What will we wear? Where will they be taken? How do I get my children (or husband) ;) to cooperate?

At Josh Petersen Photography we break down the process for you to make getting your family portraits taken an enjoyable experience.
This is how our process works:

  - First you will meet with Josh one-on-one at the studio for your design session. At your design session you'll discuss the style of portraits you are wanting, how to pair outfits, location choices, specific photos you'd like taken, spaces in your home where you'd like to have the portraits displayed, etc. Josh specializes in creating curated portrait galleries. He will guide you in choosing the portraits, designs, frames, etc. that will look best to display your portraits in your home.

  - Next you will book your family portrait session and have your photos taken! 

  - Viewing/Ordering appointment. At this appointment you will be viewing all of the photos, choosing sizes, frames, finishes, designs, etc. If you choose to have collages, books or announcements done, you will be able to work with our graphic designer to create these together. 

  - You will receive your finished prints within 3-4 weeks of your View/Order session!
